Extraco Banks is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team. This position is located in Waco, Texas.

Summary:
Produce efficient commercial credit analysis including new loan evaluations, monitor existing loans for compliance with financial covenants, facilitate proper risk/reward balance in individual commercial credit exposures. Candidates should have 5-7 years of banking or similar experience and preferably 3 years as a Credit Analyst.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Works closely with commercial bankers to analyze potential loan opportunities, helps with assembling information, and assists with structuring terms and covenants. Along with the Chief Credit Officer, acts as a quality control person who brings objectivity to the loan underwriting process.

Education:
College education with emphasis in Finance, Accounting or Economics

Experience:
Banking background with emphasis in commercial lending and strong leadership, and presentation skills.

Personal Characteristics:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary. Ability to adapt very quickly with changes in environments (both external and internal).

Requirements:
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Understanding of accounting terms and principal
Ability to read and interpret financial statements to include: tax returns (individual and business), balance sheets, income statements, cash flow schedules, statement of owner's equity
Good understanding of lending concepts, practices and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to develop strong business relationships with internal and external customers
