We are the Digital COPE teams within the Enterprise Products and Platform Technologies organization of Capital One. This organization owns multiple mission critical Enterprise platforms such as Mobile & Web servicing Apps, One-Customer View, Single Sign-On, Messaging via email/SMS, API Gateway and Developer portal. Growth of Customer Digital capabilities at lightning speed ensuring Resiliency and reliability of these platforms is critical for Capital One Digital transformation strategy, and for offering the best Digital servicing experience to our customers.
Standardization and automation are two important components of the Digital COPE work drivers. By joining the Digital COPE team, you will:

With the support of Sr leadership, you will act as a Change Agent and Technical Product Owner for several toolings and best practices, including:
Build automation to increase efficiency and productivity of Engineers while delivering on Cloud Advancements
Build and Deploy safely using one CI/CD framework for security standards leveraging blue/green/canary practices
Observability: logging, metrics analysis, and tracing via Cloudwatch, Splunk, NewRelic, Datadog
Cloud Operations Compliance and Optimization
Digital Channels Incidents reduction by using Chaos Testing Engineering
You will have the opportunity to continuously develop technical knowledge and skills on multiple platforms, and educate technology communities (including Business Team members, Scrum Masters and Sr leaders) on the capabilities and constraints of technologies.

Basic Qualifications :
At least 8 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
At least 4 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
At least 6 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience
At least 4 years of experience in People Management
9+ years of DevOps Engineering experience
4+ years of experience in Cloud infrastructure design and delivery using Boto3 REST APIs
3+ years of experience with building CICD Pipelines with Jenkins, Artifactory or GitHub and monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic)
3+ years of experience with Serverless & Container services including Docker, ECS, Fargate
3+ years of experience working with Agile Development Practices
2+ years of experience with Big Data, Spark, Neptune Graph DB & Gremlin
