Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
- Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service.
- Basic understanding of Audio Visual systems, and networked components.
- Must show effective written and oral communication skills.
- Basic Mac and PC computer hardware and software knowledge.
- Ability to obtain ANSI/ISO General CTS certification within 8 months of employment.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience installing and supporting audio/visual systems in a higher education environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of how to write and read technical documents, including: manuals, CAD drawings, floor plans, etc.
- Knowledge of AV Design principles and general construction standards.
- Knowledge of AV
- Control Systems and AV Device configuration.
- Knowledge of Zoom and/or other video conferencing applications.
- Experience with supporting audio, visual, and computing resources in an integrated environment. Audio/Visual system integration experience and knowledge.
Job Description
Responsible for providing critical or emergency technical support to classrooms and technical troubleshooting for instructional spaces.
Job Duties
Responsible for the physical installation and routine maintenance/replacement of Audio/Video/Computing equipment in a large variety of learning spaces. Additional duties include phone and in-person Audio/Video/Computing system support and system training.
