Customer Panel Analyst

What's the role?

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for all activities (end-to-end) related to the operation and maintenance of the Hilti Customer Panel. The Marketing Analyst will ensure that we maintain a well-structured research panel that provides the organization with quick and comprehensive answers to key business questions through the development and maintenance of deep profiles and more targeted and personalized research.

Additionally, the Marketing Analyst will interact with a cross-functional team of marketing professionals to identify, frame and execute analysis on key strategic business questions, and is also responsible for effectively applying different techniques for market forecasting, analyzing drivers of market share, as well as the development, enhancement or implementation of analytic models.

What does the role involve?

Hilti Customer Panel management
  • Manage all panel activities, strategy and roadmap
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to prepare and execute an annual activity roadmap (calendar)
  • Design and implement incentives and activities to keep panelists engaged and reduce churn
  • Design and manage panelist recruitment and reactivation campaigns in line with corporate persona definitions and/or other relevant criteria
  • Monitor panel health and provide

monthly updates. Write and manage send out of quarterly newsletter to panelists. Manage incentive program and ensure it is cost efficient and drives engagement. Be the point of contact for panelists and internal stakeholders. Ensure data privacy compliance in accordance with global and local standards. Prepare summaries of panel activity for monthly/quarterly review to be distributed to the Marketing team. Coordinate the production of marketing assets in partnership with Marcom

Analytics responsibilities
  • Develop easy to use, interactive and intuitive data visualizations using data to tell a story and drive actionable insights
  • Utilize a hypothesis-driven, problem-solving approach to design, construct and test exploratory analyses to reveal insights and opportunities for the marketing team
  • Assess, capture, and translate complex business issues and requirements into structured analytics use cases
  • Collaborate with internal clients and external resources to provide marketing intelligence support
  • Deliver specific and detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis on the market, including opportunity assessment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you need is
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Applied Economics, Business Analytics, Market Research, or related quantitative field.
  • Master's in Business Administration preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience producing high quality, well-regarded insights & analytics work.
  • Proven track record of building research roadmaps that balance cost efficiency with speed/agility.
  • Working knowledge of customer panels, customer experience tracking or customer sensing.
  • Syndicated and panel data knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to draw conclusions from large amounts of data and summarize findings in a concise manner.
  • Ability to put yourself in the shoes of customer/customer centric thinking.
  • Detail oriented with ability to produce accurate work quickly & efficiently.
  • Independent worker with self-starter mentality; takes initiative.
  • Highly analytical with a demonstrated track record of turning data into actionable insights.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple insights tools and processes (both quantitative and qualitative) ranging from insight mining to concept refinement/validation and beyond
  • Strong analytic/problem solving capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication and training skills.
  • Great organizational skills
  • Effective consultative skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to business stakeholders including C-level executives.
  • Proficiency with data processing platforms such as R, Python, Alteryx
  • or SQL preferred.
  • Proficiency with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including macros and advanced formulas.
  • Excellent understanding of marketing measurement techniques with a strong technical acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in statistics, econometrics and decision science preferred.
