SENIOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

An Associates level degree or an equivalent military/work experience combination in the field of science, engineering or mathematics. For equivalency purposes:

• Ten (10) years of service with an appropriate military Naval Enlisted Code, Military Occupational Specialty, and preferred grade at departure is desired to be no less than E6.

Five (5) years professional experience in electrical/electronics systems. The following qualifications are desired:

• Familiarity with the implementation of Navy Fire Control Systems and Navy Vertical Launching Systems.
• Skill in launching systems, ordnance operations, and knowledge in installing and maintaining ship and land-based systems used in a test and evaluation environment.
• Ability to independently plan and accomplish complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity.
