Walker Elliott is working with our client, an upstream oil and gas operator, who is looking for a Programmer/Analyst to support the user community by developing applications and support projects with data.

Responsibilities:

Work with users to identify and resolve issues.
Work with software vendor as necessary to resolve issues.
Develop custom solutions following the software development lifecycle (develop, test, deploy).
Use system to track incidents for resolutions.
Provide accurate project status reports.

Requirements:

BA/BS preferred
2 or more years working in upstream oil and gas.
More than 3 years of overall IT (in a SQL development role)
Upstream corporate accounting experience a major advantage.
Experience with business intelligence including Tableau, Power BI or Spotfire
Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Access, VBA coding, Excel Macros
Knowledge of SQL concepts including views, stored procedures, SSIS packages and SSRS.

This role is hybrid.
