Senior Product Manager

Position Overview

E2open is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for its Global Parcel platform.

This role will work under the guidance of the Sr. Director Product Management and will be responsible for providing input into and executing our overall parcel product strategy, managing the roadmap, and conducing market research. You will work to identify and translate market and customer problems into high-level product needs, in the form of feature visions and high-level requirements. You will work in close partnership with a cross functional team including, Developers, Testers (QA), Professional Services, Support, Marketing and Sales personnel throughout each stage of the product lifecycle. This job requires someone with experience in software product management who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems, and make challenging decisions.

Responsibilites:

  • Contribute and support execution of the global parcel strategy.
  • Assist in cost and P&L analysis.
  • Help manage the product lifecycle of our parcel portfolio.
  • Support the development and execution of the product roadmap.
  • Conduct discovery to develop requirements in the form of epics and features, work with Product Owners on the development of user stories.
  • Support market research to inform the problem statements, vision, and requirements.
  • Communicate and translate logistic use cases into product requirements that add value to the market and customer base.
  • Decompose high-level information into details and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs or problems.
  • Work directly with internal and external customers to understand their needs/problems and translate their needs into requirements.
  • Collaborate and work with other Product Managers and Product Owners across the e2open product portfolio to execute our product strategy.
  • Solicit feedback from external and internal customers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate new and existing functionality to stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to identify needs and continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication.
  • Work with individuals across the company during all aspects of the product development process, from ideation through release.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the company products portfolio to support the company's current and future needs
  • Other tasks and activities as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role delivering and maintaining B2B software products for enterprise applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience
  • Ability to understand and represent the needs to the end user in a software development environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and analytical skills.
  • The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, client representatives, product manager, software developers, and subject matter experts.
  • Experience soliciting user requirements and feedback from both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work comfortably and fluidly in an evolving environment.
  • Logistics industry expertise is a strong plus
  • Experience with Business Intelligence applications a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
  • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
  • Virtual meetings
  • May require 20% travel or more if needed
