SilverBow is in search of a Production Analyst III to provide support to the Production Accounting department. The Production Analyst III will analyze production data and support the preparation of required production, sales reports, and revenue distribution. • Monthly reporting of required state agency and in-house production/sales reports.
• Comply with state agency discrepancy/compliance notices.
• Reconcile purchaser oil and gas statement to field estimates.
• Compile, validate and distribute daily, weekly & monthly reports.
• Allocate (daily and monthly) oil, gas, and water products.
• Maintain internal SOX controls with the assigned level of responsibility.
• Investigate and resolve volume discrepancies with production personnel.
• Advanced level impact role in the job family.
• Provides advanced level support to the production accounting staff.
• Ensures production data quality standards are adhered to, performs routine to semi-complex problem analysis, recommends/implements problem resolutions and prepares documents and reports.
• Provide comprehensive data analysis upon requirement and present conclusions.
• Performs the necessary functions to allocate the production data within the system including the resolution of all theoretical and allocation errors.
• Implements processes and analysis based on sets standards for procedures, policy and standard set forth for data management.
• Provides daily validation and approval of production data into the corporate volume accounting system including the resolution of inaccurate/incomplete data.
• Produces reports and related documents based on analysis of production.
• Prepares external state forms and government regulatory reports.
• Handles other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Education

• High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in production accounting, business, information technology or related field.
• 5-7 years of production accounting/analyst experience.
• Experience with Enterprise Upstream/Oracle.
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and corporate goals.
• Proficient in accessing database functionality, the software and related hardware supporting the production accounting function.
• Proven expertise in recommending and establishing data processing and quality production accounting records standards.
• Complete understanding of operational activities and ability to understand impact on departmental outcomes.
• Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions and implement change.
• Skilled in written and oral communications both internally and externally.
• Working understanding of database setups and reporting functionality.
• Skilled in all reporting requirements for regularity entities.
