Product Manager - Model e Digital Products - Remote

This position may require some travel (expected < 20%). Candidates to be preferably located in Michigan but open to considering remote locations in USA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What youll be expected to do:

  • Create, understand and communicate the vision, strategy, and business goals of the product
  • Research customer needs and develop clear requirements to deliver end to end data solutions
  • Lead working sessions with various stakeholders (delivery managers, developers, business owners, architects, designers, legal teams) to define product features and coordinate launch plans
  • Establish product OKRs and provide key performance indicators to measure success and ensure product performance meets the acceptance and SLA criteria
  • Refine product backlogs and evaluate new demand through prioritization processes
  • Work with complex dependencies and build product roadmap in line with the product strategy
  • Ensure that development teams understand priorities and coordinate user acceptance plans
  • Present product updates and coordinate reviews with executives and senior management supported by data insights and analytics

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
  • 1+ experience working with data related products and ecosystems. For example - data quality, big data, data cleansing, data streaming, data distribution, connected vehicle data etc.
  • At least 3 years of Product Manager or Product Owner experience including developing roadmaps, running backlogs (JIRA preferred), monitoring metrics and KPIs.
  • At least 2 years of experience delivering complex software products to the market with a deep understanding of product development cycle and Agile methodologies

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's in business administration
  • Experience with APIs, cloud technologies, and microservice architecture
  • Working experience with diverse customers (retail, commercial, internal, and external)
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams under aggressive timelines
  • Innovative and able to find win-win solutions in the face of conflicting needs and priorities
  • Demonstrate leadership in areas of expertise and desire to grow in areas of need
  • Business and technology oriented. You will not be writing code, but you need to understand the technical nuances and complexity around APIs, data and vehicle architecture
  • Capability to think strategically to combine multiple ongoing efforts to deliver scalable and global solutions
  • Prior experience with privacy and consent management, software billing models, and B2B partnerships
  • UX experience including Design Thinking, customer focus groups, and design workshops
