Supersocial was founded by Yonatan Raz-Fridman Yon" (CEO), Pedro Romi (CFO), Luiza Justus (Creative Director) and Tatiana Wlasek (VP Marketing & Partnerships), together bringing demonstrable track record in building and scaling consumer tech companies and brands. Our CEO Yon is recognized as a trailblazer and thought leader in the metaverse space both for his work with Supersocial and his podcast Into The Metaverse.

Our special sauce is combining creator talent who grew up on the Roblox platform with creatives and operators with decades of experience building consumer brands and telling stories in creative ways. The Supersocial team combines deep Roblox expertise with AAA experience and creative storytellers who, together, design cutting edge experiences that feels authentic to metaverse communities.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

We are looking for exceptional Gameplay Programmers who are curious, bold, creative and relentless about quality, to join us in this incredible journey of pushing the boundaries of the Roblox platform. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including other native Roblox developers, to create cutting-edge brand experiences on the platform. You will design and build complex systems ranging from secure authoritative backend systems to some front end gameplay and UI work. The systems you make must effectively scale to support the experiences gameplay in a way that delights our players.

YOU'LL ENJOY THIS ROLE IF YOU CAN

• Create complex game systems that are easy to maintain and scale
• Write clean and maintainable Lua code for cross-platform games, specifically for PC and mobile
• Work effectively with other developers and cross functional teammates to deliver a high quality and deeply immersive experience
• Constantly seek to iterate and improve the experience in pursuit of an engaging gameplay
• Collaborate and take part in discussions, providing valuable input as well as taking constructive feedback

QUALIFICATIONS

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience with a proven track-record in similar role and have full proficiency of all aspects of programming on Roblox
• Be passionate about developing complex game systems
• Effective Communication: You communicate frequently, directly and clearly. You are great at giving feedback and receiving feedback.
• Demonstrable track-record of working on a successful game from launch to scale
• Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to operate in ambiguity and roll up your sleeves
• Experience working with Github and Rojo

Nice to Have

• Experience working with a distributed/remote team
• Worked on a full project life cycle involving multiple disciplines
