Home Matters Caregiving is looking for an experienced, results-driven outside sales representative that is competitive, compassionate, and solutions-oriented to grow our referral network in the Houston area. Our Business Development Manager plays a fundamental role in ensuring that seniors get the best care they deserve while achieving our high growth expectations.
You must be comfortable pulling doors, cold calling (in-person), and executing a high-touch sales process daily. Our Business Development Manager is required to deploy a boots on the ground approach to build, grow, and maintain long-lasting relationships with referral partners. Additional responsibilities include developing strategic action plans across multiple territories, utilizing our CRM (HubSpot) to manage a book of business, and performing new-client assessments. We reward relentless hard work and have a passionate appreciation for entrepreneurially minded individuals. We are road warriors so windshield time is required.

You have 2+ years of outside sales experience
You have experience using a CRM (HubSpot) and Google Workspace
Home care and/or health care experience is a plus, but is not required as we will provide all the tools and training necessary to succeed
Be in the field 4-5 times per week
New client acquisition
Identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities
Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners
Conduct new client & home safety assessments
Represent our core values while working face-to-face with critical stakeholders
Effectively communicate with clients and their representatives, referral partners, and employees
Direct sales focus within the territory to ensure adequate and appropriate care and services
Organize public relations and marketing events
Participate in local industry networking
Work with agency leadership on hiring needs
Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state accrediting bodies, local rules, and regulations
Schedule: Monday through Friday, ability to be on-call
Field Work: 4-5 days/week
Experience: Outside Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
In the field
SNF, hospitals, independent and assisted living communities
Ability to participate in physical activity
Ability to work for an extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity
Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis
Home Matters Caregiving is committed to a consistent, inclusive, and equitable approach to compensation. In addition to a strong salary, the Business Development Manager position has an uncapped commission component, so earning potential is not limited. We expect On Target Earnings to be $100k+.
