Area Vice President Sales - CDOC (mid-market sales)

E2open have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales manager to take on the role of Area Vice President, Sales within our CDOC (mid-market, Revenue

This role provides the opportunity to influence company growth in a fast-growing SaaS digital supply chain company, working closely with sales and business leaders cross-functionally and globally within the organisation.

The successful candidate will have previous sales management experience and prior success in a new business/account management capacity themselves. They will be an energetic team player, able to motivate and influence and operate strategically and tactically to evolve the sales function further.


Manage a team of Area Sales Directors to generate and close revenue opportunities across the entire e2open portfolio, into new logo and existing accounts.

Manage sales activity, day-to-day operations, and overall success of team.

Continuously manage the performance and development of the team through coaching, development, proactive leadership, and goal setting.

Leverage company sales best practices to secure a repeatable process to drive sales opportunities and customer engagement activities.

Prioritize the accuracy of data in all sales systems by monitoring the systems and coaching sales representatives on best practices.

Use reports to coach and provide visibility of the team's performance relevant to goals.

Person Specification:

Previous sales management experience at an enterprise level, with the ability to display coaching and people development skills.

Personal success selling at an enterprise level.

SaaS sales experience is desirable, but not essential.

Demonstrated history of sales success and progressive managerial responsibilities

Comfortable dealing with a global customer base and interacting in a multicultural environment

Process driven, strong analytical skills with a metrics driven sales management approach

Ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve great results while having fun

You like to win, build high-performing teams that are highly motivated and operate with integrity and intensity

Strong written and verbal presentation skills: should be able to quickly construct compelling presentation materials
