PPG Industries Grand Prairie, TX PPG has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Inspector at our Grand Prairie, TX site. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will audit and support Quality Management Systems.

You will also perform incoming and outgoing receiving inspections activities, establish quality standards, identify deviations, route items that need additional testing to the appropriate labs, and review returning item documentation for compliance. You will work onsite our Grand Prairie, TX location and report to the Quality Control Manager. Key Responsibilities:. Perform receiving inspection against packing slips and other required documentation Accurately reads and interprets specifications Performs appropriate physical tests on products and materials Operates laboratory equipment Records data on manual or computerized systems Performs final inspection and audit outgoing audits on finished goods Interprets test results regarding product or customer specifications Informs management regarding non- conforming material or products Applies all laboratory safety procedures Participates in 5 S activities Complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times Performs other tasks as assigned.
