Senior .NET Developer Careington International has a current Senior .Net Developer position that can be worked Remotely, but at times, employee will need to work in our Frisco, TX, corporate office.
Candidates must live within 60 miles of our corporate office in Frisco, TX. The Senior .NET Developer develops information systems by studying operations; designing, developing, and installing software solutions; supports and develops software team. This position requires a person who is excited about helping a company mature in its approach to software development and is capable of leading others in that effort.
The ideal candidate will have broad end-to-end development experience in a Microsoft .NET environment, as well as prior interaction with an offshore team. Education & Experience: 7+ years of practical experience as a .
NET Developer, both on front and back end. Advanced knowledge of object-oriented concepts, design patterns and development processes Grounded understanding of iterative development practices, including Agile, SCRUM, etc. Experience developing test cases. TDD is a plus.
Experience with regulated application development (HIPAA, PCI) are a plus. Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required Duties & Responsibilities: Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle. Translate and document business needs into technical requirements using deep dive sessions with business and technical teams. Define standard development practices to follow and gate check development milestones for compliance. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Improves operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures. Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Protects projects by keeping information confidential.
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and support issues. Accomplishes technical and organizational mission by delivering project milestones as agreed. Supports and develops software developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical knowledge includes: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, SQL Server 2008 or newer programming (stored procedures, database design, etc.), MVC, JQuery, JavaScript, Web Services, Microservices, Angular, TFS, HTML, CSS, XML, LINQ & Entity Framework a plus Exposure building native cloud applications in Microsoft Azure cloud is preferred Hands on CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps is preferred Proficiency with Visio, Excel, and Project Planning tools a plus, SQL Server database administration a plus Technical abilities include Software Design, Documentation, and Testing, General Programming Skills, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements.
