Your Impact

As a Combat Core Systems Programmer you will be responsible for providing technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. You will be part of a high-performing multi-site, multi-program team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. You will work with our multi-discipline Agile scrum teams, supporting software development activities in a Dev Ops environment to build modern software solutions to meet customer needs. The ability to travel on occasion for team interaction and integration and test activities is required.

Experience with Agile software development process is highly desired. Familiarity with high level programming languages is highly desired.

The successful candidate will need to pass a security screening before interview.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires an Interim Secret clearance required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with C+, Java or Python.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Skills:

Agile software development process, high level programming languages, Object Oriented Programming and Design, Version Control tool (such as GNU bazaar or Git)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
