Bell in Fort Worth, TX has an immediate opening for a Manager, Product Cyber Security Testing to support the cyber systems engineering sectors of our Future Vertical Lift organization.

As the Manager of this team, you will be responsible for overseeing and deconflicting the cyber security testing efforts across all Bell product lines.

You will be responsible for leading the testing efforts as wells as defining training needs and mentoring team members on testing methods and approaches.

As a growing and maturing organization within Bell, the Manager of Product Cyber Security Testing reports to the Senior Manager of Product Cyber Security, and will collaborate to determine staffing needs, develop staff, establish standardized test procedures and have oversight of both estimating and performance of the testing team.

This manager will be responsible for seamless integration of the Cyber Security team with other functional roles within Bell and must ensure that Cyber Security business needs are met in terms of timely testing and report delivery in support of secure product development.

The Testing Manager will be responsible to support business development efforts and identify additional areas to provide revenue streams as the sector grows to undertake additional contracts. This position is located at Bell's headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Grow and manage a team of Cyber Security Test Engineers to develop test procedures and support system development and validation.
  • Coordinate and manage the development of the Cyber Test Environment to include lab development, tool selection and training requirements.
  • Continue to develop new and innovative test methods and maintain relevant equipment and tooling.
  • Maintain familiarity with associated customer directives, regulations, and controls (eg NIST RMF, DOD 8510, DO326, Aircraft Survivability, etc.)
  • Possess expert knowledge and experience in penetration testing, preferably on aerospace systems or Industrial Control Systems (ICS) based networks. (NIST)

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering or a degree with a related discipline.

Position Qualifications:

  • At least 7+ years of aviation related experience with at least 3 years of experience in industrial penetration testing such as (product, IOT, ICS, aviation, and other nontraditional penetration testing).
  • Experience with software static code testing and dynamic code testing and analysis
  • Experience with configuration management, CAMEO, and ENOVIA or another PLM tool.
  • Prior team leadership experience that includes the development of others technical skill sets.
  • Must possess or be able to achieve a master penetration testing level of certification (LPT Master, OSCP, GXPN etc.) within 12 months of start date.
  • Strong attention to detail with respect to process development and work product quality.
  • Knowledge of networking and aircraft avionics and mission systems.
  • Must be able to work with changing, ambiguous, and evolving requirements.
  • Strong technical analysis and communication skills.
  • Must be able to communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with other functional design teams.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with ADO and Jira
