General Summary :
The Senior Financial Analyst will support the organization through the analysis of the merchandise and operational data, the development of financial plans and forecasts, and the preparation of ad hoc expense analysis for special initiatives. The individual will be required to gather and validate information necessary to provide analytical, fact-based assessments
which will aid in the decision making needed to drive business results. This position provides an outstanding

Essential Job Functions :
1. Coordinate with management to create financial forecasts and plans
2. Prepare month end reports using excel based financial models
3. Forecast, analyze and provide summary of organizations trends in sales, margin, expense and other operational metrics
4. Develop and update models to provide analysis for various financial conditions related to business operations
5. Provide ongoing tracking, reporting and analysis of trends in various operating areas
6. Prepare detailed expense analysis including components of SG&A and buying & occupancy
7. Identify potential business issues and opportunities through data analysis
8. While this position does not have specific general ledger responsibilities, it does have a responsibility to monitor financial results and estimates during closing and identify issues and to assist corporate accounting team resources
9. Utilize multiple systems and software applications to execute tasks

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,
Economics or related field
Master's Degree preferred
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry
