About the Role: Job Title: Java Telephony Engineer Key Responsibilities: Understand the current contact center telephony architecture and perform an analysis of client's Session Border Controller, IVR, SIP and Voice Gateway. To understand the client's telephony re-engineering needs, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather voice gateway related requirements and provide technical expertise during solution design and implementation phases.
Perform development and testing. Monitor the telephony environment's health, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime and disruptions. Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose enhancements to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications: Should possess the communication and maturity to work with highly qualified engineering environment that is going to be fast paced. Strong understanding of VoIP protocols, SIP, RTP, and related telephony technologies. Expertise in configuring large scale contact center flows, routing strategy, custom scripting, API integrations, desktop and 3rd party app integrations.
Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching relevant to telephony systems. Desired Qualifications: Experience with Core Java, REST Microservices Experience with Java SIP frameworks like JAIN Experience with TTS or related technology Experience with VoIP protocols, SIP, RTP, and related telephony technologies. Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid 3 days a week) Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000 - $130,000 annually.
Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
