ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides strategic direction to design, develop, test and deploy a cloud-native solution that encompasses multiple services and clients integrating with third party telecommunication providers.
Defines and communicates the technical vision for multiple teams working on the next generation cloud services.
Ensures security best practices are maintained and followed.
Recruits, hires and retains world class talent.
Partners with product management counterparts to deliver on vision and business priorities
Embraces a culture of continuous improvement and agility.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based software systems.
Lead a global team of software engineers to implement new features and functionality for telecommunications platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions align with business objectives.
Ensure software development adheres to industry best practices and standards.
Mentor and coach software engineers and managers to improve their technical skills and knowledge.
Develop and maintain software development roadmaps and implement best practices.
Monitor and report on project progress to senior management
About You
What can you bring?
EXPERIENCE
10+ years experience designing and building massively scalable and distributed software solutions.
Strong experience managing multiple geographically-distributed software development teams.
Experience driving adoption of software development best practices including micro-service architecture, continuous deployment, devops, full-stack engineering, etc.
Experience with telecommunications technologies; eg, Session Border Controllers (SBC) and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).
Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and platforms; eg AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
Experience with software development methodologies; eg, Agile, Scrum.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Experience with modern software development technologies and practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with automation, testing, and monitoring tools.
Experience with telecommunication carriers and service providers is desirable
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Deep technical understanding of cloud-native development.
Experience leading a cloud solution that serves web and mobile clients.
Strong leadership skills including the ability to assess and attract talent and to build a high-performance team.
Proven track record of successful product delivery.
An entrepreneurial spirit with the passion and drive to explore new areas of innovation.
Masters or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

The pay range for this opportunity is from $157,900 to $213,200 + performance-related bonus + benefits
This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
