Job Description:

The L3Harris Organization Designation Organization (ODA) is looking for a self-motivated, high-energy individual to join our team. This position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have the ability and willingness to work in a team environment. This position reports to the Manager of the Airworthiness Project Lead group.

Essential Functions:

• Works on multi-function and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve company and customer goals
• Creates and reviews FAA and Military project certification plans
• Creates and reviews FAA and Military project compliance reports
• Tracks and reports certification project status and budgets
• Works to influence others to accept practices, concepts and approaches to show compliance to FAA regulations and military airworthiness criteria
• Communicates with parties within and outside of the organization, which includes customers or vendors
• Requires ability to communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of importance to the ODA
• Participates in process improvement initiatives and offers ideas for aspects of the ODA and company business that need improvement

Job Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. An equivalent combination of education may also be considered. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is preferred.

• Experience with aircraft system design and integration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Existing DoD SECRET Security Clearance
• Experience with FAA and Military airworthiness certification
• Experience with leading multi-disciplinary teams
