CGI is looking for a Java Developer with proven ability to deliver ongoing improvements for a custom front-end application. Individual should be ready to learn and experiment with a wide range of technologies.

Ideal candidate will have:
Proven hands-on experience with JAVA Programming with Angular framework
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills!
Strong programming fundamentals and a clear understanding of Object-Oriented
Programming in practice
Extensive experience with SQL
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Team approach and ability to work within a diverse, geographically dispersed team
Positive demeanor to multi-task

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Plan, develop, deploy, test and optimize java applications
Provide application support, as well as development on existing and/or new applications
Understand desired functionality for end-users and prepare estimates
Deliver work timely and with high quality
Install and maintain software including detailing the diagnosis and resolution of incidents
Optimally coordinate with individuals from other teams

Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
5+ years as a full-stack (Java) developer/programmer
Experience with the following technology stack, tools, and processes:
Solid understanding of core Java, JAVA 8 and above
Object Oriented Programming concepts,
Spring, Spring Boot
Hibernate, RDBMS, SQL,
Experience with Angular framework (must) and other frameworks
Strong shown understanding with Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Implementation
Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
Experience working with web user interface technologies
Shown experience with Maven, Git, Jenkins or other build/deployment orchestration
engine
Experience in crafting and building REST services
Experience crafting, building and testing Java EE applications and in-depth knowledge of
popular Java frameworks
Experience with full life cycle development including requirements gathering, analysis,
design, coding, unit testing and acceptance testing

Skills

Years of experience:
Core Java with JSP/Servlet 5+ years
Spring MVC, Spring Boot 3+ years
Angular 2+ years' experience
React, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript 2+ years.
Experience with RDBMS platforms such as SQL, MySQL 4+ years

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required
Experience working with JIRA and Confluence tools
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in agile environment

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skills level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,600 -$120,000.
