Description -

HP is seeking a senior engineer to help develop our next-generation of products for videoconferencing products. As a key member of the video collaboration engineering team, you will work with a group of engineers overseeing all aspects of the video and audio processing, video encode and decode, machine learning, and Android development. The successful candidate will have a willingness to learn and have demonstrated proficiency collaborating in cross-functional development programs. This is an exciting opportunity to create new user experiences with best-in-class video hardware.

Responsibilities
Work with engineering teams on implementing best-in-class experiences
Innovate in image AI/ML software development.
Assess various approaches, then enable/enhance new features for our video products.
Work closely with our AI/ML teams and Camera teams to provide characterizations, optimizations, facilitate automated testing, and improve quality. Provide reports and feedback to internal and external teams.

Knowledge & Skills
At least 3 years of experience implementing C/C+, machine learning for video systems
Android embedded development
Familiarity with different neural network architectures (CNNs, RNNs, etc.) and deep learning framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and TF Lite
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Evaluating forms and processes for software applications testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English
Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels
