Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Instructional Designer IV. T his is a 12 month + contract position located in Austin, TX.
Description: In this role, you will drive the curriculum and project management of external global training products. Our team is looking for a strong program manager with a proven track record of managing, developing and delivering training content and certification programs for technical and business audiences. This includes program managing the design, development and deployment of external training in scaled modalities (e-learning, video, blended, community-based).
You will excel in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, provide quick responses and meet aggressive deadlines. You are an extremely self-motivated, autonomous individual who will lead regional efforts for training program development and delivery Responsibilities: Leverage strong leadership and project management skills to ensure quality and timely completion of training and development projects with direction from the Global Manager. Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the existing global training strategy and roadmap.
Work with subject matter experts, product managers, engineers, other departments, and outside resources to organize and develop training materials and certificate exams. Collect and analyze data to measure training quality and effectiveness. Develop detailed reports and communicate with key stakeholders, including senior managers.
Requirements: Project/Program Management BS in a business, instructional design, organizational communication (in lieu of degree, 5 years of relevant work experience) 2 years of technical training content and curriculum development & hands-on certification program management in software or internet industry. Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp) Desired: Demonstrated ability to modify program(s) based on the changing needs throughout the business growth. Strong background in and working knowledge of mobile apps and games growth area.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with multiple audiences and levels, both internally and externally. Proven ability to think outside the box. Strong project and time management skills.
Team player/self-starter with the ability to analyze tasks, work independently and to drive projects to completion. Desire to work in a fast-paced delivery focused environment. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
